 Campaign for Real Milk

We sell our luscious Guernsey milk and cream raw and unpasteurised, just as nature intended and just as we drink it ourselves.

We're not against pasteurisation - we also sell pasteurised milk! But we believe there is nothing inherently wrong with raw milk, and there may be health benefits in all the "good bacteria" that are killed by heat-treating this living food.

But raw milk is controversial; some people believe that, despite the rigorous testing regime we undergo, it carries

unacceptable health risks and should not be available to the general public. The Food Standards Agency (FSA), the body responsible for food safety in the UK, has reviewed the retail sale of raw milk and concluded that the existing regime works for everyone concerned.

Maybe you enjoy the taste; maybe you like making your own yoghurt and keffir; maybe you have a health problem that means you can’t tolerate heat-treated milk. Or perhaps you just support a wider choice and prefer to make your own judgments about your food! Whatever your reasons, come and try some unpastuerised milk and cream.
